Over the past two decades, Savanna has evolved with the addition of seven seasoned musicians and their accompanying cultural influences. From Indian and West African traditional folk, to French and even Icelandic nuances, Savanna have become a rich and diverse network of talented musicians who work to create intricately layered soundscapes, forming a genre of music that can only be loosely described as “World fusion”. However the African infusion that flows through Savanna’s tracks remains definitive of the band’s style.
